Wow.
It is nice to have found you again.
Today should have been a great evening.
I can only wish them well and hope that they are safe.
I know I was not wrong.

Life starts in the first week of August
Hey there, too much of a whirlwind here to lay it all down.
Work is great. A paycheck these days, regardless of what you are doing, is a blessing.
Pete is doing well. Working and playing and working and playing.
Matt's wedding to Melissa went well. I wish them the best and Pete looked amazing throughout it all. His family cant wait til I join them...tee hee hee.
Been having a few more gigs as an artist...non-paying, but my payment comes in free advertising.
And my best friend Victoria is getting married next weekend...oh my!

HELLO WORLD!
Hola world, how have you been?
Work has been busy, but I will state that that is not a bad things...especially with the way things are going. There is rumor going around the office about me and a promotion, but a rumor is a rumor, and until I have a nicer desk and pay raise, I'm not believing it.
Things for the Boyfriend are going well. He is working freelance for a company out of Grand Rapids and has been doing well. Work may not be as steady as with the other company he was with, but it is still a job. He is now officially a member of Immigrant Blue, he just recently played his second show with them @ Planet Rock in Battle Creek, MI. If you want to check out their music, go here www.myspace.com/immigrantblue. He also has shows lined up with his other band, Poor Bastards Revolt, you can also find them on Facebook and myspace!
Im looking forward to Fete de la Musique this year. For those not in the know, Fete is a world-wide music day that takes place in various cities. It is a whole day of music, and here in Kalamazoo, it's a pretty sweet deal. PBR has had a chance to play for two years, and are doing it this one as well! MUSIC AND THE OUTDOORS = HEAVEN!
I've only been indulging in mini hauling...though I will say, I scored nicely at TJ Maxxx the other day! I placed an order with beautyticket.com...lets see how well that goes. It was a great place to get a bunch of Stila, Smashbox, Prescriptives, Bumble and Bumble, the list goes on! Of course, you guys all know me, I went straight for the Stila and Smashbox, got a pretty decent size haul for next to nothing. I went hauling at Marshall's the other day and got a ton of awesome H2O body stuff.
Im on my way to rehabilitating one of my school loans that went bad, so I'm pretty happy about that.
Alright kiddies, I am off. Will post next time, and of course I will say that I will add pics, and probably wont....Im lazy.

Hautelook.com Sale, Stila and life again!
Hey there everyone...I hope everyones weekend was great!!!
So, Im still compiling pictures of my last three BeautyCrunch hauls...and trust me, they were HUGE! I am completely in love with all the products I was able to get.
BeautyBargain from here and YouTube let everyone know of HAUTELOOK.COM...a website that sells high end clothes, accessories, and makeup for less. Today is their Stila sale, ends tomorrow. I must say though, Im not really impressed with the prices...I had an idea of what they might be, but I had them pegged to be much lower, which they are not. But, through BRANDI (beautybargain) I was able to get a $10 credit. I ended up caving in and getting the Ulta-Mate set that they did for Ulta with a special pink lipglaze, four eyeshadows, and mascara and illuminating tinted moisturizer.
I promise promise promise that I will have pictures up soon.
Aside from that, this weekend, me and my boyfriend went to South Haven to walk around Lake Michigan and to go eat at Clementines in town. OH MY GOD! BEST FOOD EVER! And it was such a nice day Sunday, so it was def a perfect day.
Still have not finished the Heart is deceitful above all things....must get on to my reading.
I bought me and the boyfriend tickets to Mastodon in Pontiac, Mi coming up soon...Im not too into the music, but he has to put up with my obsession with down on life music and books and my unhealthy fascination with makeup.
Good night all....

Have been reading more lately and picking up new books, I just got JT LeRoy's The Heart is Deceitful above all things this weekend...
Bought some new clothes for work and play which I really needed...
And tried to catch up on sleep.
Will have another update for you soon.
Thanks again to BeautyBargain on here and YouTube for turning me on to where the real deals are!!!

Back in Action!
Hello there gals...
Today's episode:
Two hauls from Beautycrunch.com !
My updated skincare regimen !
Open forum for do's and dont's for winter skin !
Bargains !!!
Things that I am liking in general...
Work has been crazy you guys. I am still trying to get adjusted to the schedule, although I should not be complaining. With the situation being what it is nowadays, I'm fortunate to have what I do. Most of the past month and a half has been me and my BF just trying to live to see another day, and make the most out of what we have. But enough of me and this sob story, let's get on with it...
So, I did two hauls from Beautycrunch.com. The first haul was small, I got the best of Stila set, which had about 7 products in it, and Too Faced Fantastic Plastic Set. This ended up being, with shipping, about $40!!! It was too sweet of a deal to ignore.
The second order ended up being around $80, but that ended up being the Gift of Glow set, Stila's Return to Learn Mini brush set, Blue Orchid night flower palette (which is gorgeous and chock full of awesome product), The Runway Look (a three pan elegant palette, which also came with a mini Stila Kajal), and the Fabulous for Fall Set ( an eye and check palette, with mascara and a lip glaze). Yeah, I really have to get on taking pictures so you guys can see*!*!
I have to say, it took me a while to get into Stila, but I'm pretty sold on it now.
I shall stop that last tirade since I have no pics up for you yet. Moving on...
I have been extremely happy with my line of Exuviance skincare. Exuviance is made by NeoStrata, the same people that brought us Dermablend. This skincare line was designed for sensitive skin, but it is extremely effective on all types. I have combination skin, and I find that these products not only work for my skin, but I have friends who have oily or normal skin and they work equally as well.
I will devote an entire post to the products I use.
Gals, what are your do's and dont's for winter skin? I am very prone to getting dry patches, flaky lips, and the skin on my body is like sandpaper unless I scrub and moisturize daily...what are your tricks for staying soft and supple in the winter?
*BARGAIN TIME*
Most of the Exuviance line I was lucky enough to pick up at TJ Maxxx and Marshall's. For dirt cheap, as well, I should mention.
You can find Too Faced, Stila, DuWop, Pop Beauty and Lola products at beautycrunch.com.
Another site to check would be Hautelook.com which has massive sales on certain couture brands, as well as makeup! Sign up for their email so you can get up to date info on all of their sales.
Things Im digging right now -
PANDORA.COM - really awesome streaming online radio. Customize to your own taste!
Lynda Barry - Author of Cruddy, and Ernie Pook's Comeek Strip, and What it is - Drawn and Quarterly, best fucking author in the world***
beautycrunch.com - duh!
doedeereblogazine.com - wonderful site by the equally wonderful Zenia!
Thanks again for tuning in.
